4 acre park on S. Platt Rd. north of Redman Rd. (behind Symons Elementary School). Facilities include tennis courts and softball diamond.
Nature Park - 223 S. Platt Rd.
As the name suggests, this park provides the perfect natural backdrop for a variety of outdoor activities. Located off of South Platt Road and bordering the Saline River and Ford Lake, this 11 acre park features a dinosaur-themed playground, a baseball diamond, BBQ grills, and a reservable pavilion. This park also features woodlands that provide the perfect interaction with local wildlife.
Sanford Road Park - 13225 Sanford Rd.
This large and diverse park sits on 139 acres of reclaimed farmland off of Sanford Road between Arkona and Milan-Oakville Roads. The park is separated into three areas. The north end of the park is an equestrian center that houses numerous horse shows and events from local groups. The middle section is home of the Milan Youth Soccer Club. The south end features the areas premier model airplane flying field, and is home to the Milan Flyers. This section also features a 2.5 mile walking/biking path through the scenic, natural areas of the park.
Softball Park - 91 Gump Lake Rd.
Also known as "Gump Lake Park" to local baseball and softball enthusiasts, this park is home to our adult softball league as well as a variety of local youth baseball teams. Located on Gump Lake Drive, just south of Main Street, this 9 acre park featuring two baseball/softball diamonds is connected to Wilson Park by a paved walking/biking path that runs along the scenic Saline River.
Wilson Park - 89 Wabash St.
Nestled along the scenic Saline River and just a stone's throw from our historic downtown, this 35 acre park is the perfect area for a leisurely stroll or participating in a variety of active sports. The park features include a large playground and a tot-lot, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, a sand volleyball court, walking/biking paths, several BBQ pits and a reservable pavillion. The park is home to many Milan annual events, including our "Concerts in the Park" series, the Milan Fair, and the "Relay for Life" event.
