The Milan Youth Council was created by the Milan City Council and is a youth-driven group charged with providing a conduit for youth voice to city leadership, help promote civic engagement, community service, and foster an understanding of how municipal government works. We research and determine the appropriate means by which public and private agencies in cooperation with volunteer efforts may address such needs. Candidates will develop problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Candidates are required to live within the Milan city limits and be in high school. The first meeting is scheduled for August 17 at 6:00 pm and will be conducted via Zoom. Please click the link below for the Milan Youth Council application.
